Recorded over two plus years in a small analog 8 track home studio almost entirely alone with the exception of drummer Jimmy Perez and a handful of others. 'Higher Up Here' is a return to DIY roots for the debut from this two decade veteran of the San Francisco music scene.

Life changing events led to, and through, these songs. Every influence from Blues, Soul, Garage, SF psych, Punk, Gospel, British Invasion and Folk, and everything rooted in the ugly soil of America, can be found here. And every spectrum of the human experience as well. Laced with humor and biting appraisal on the absurdity of modern life. Delivered in customary, hard-to-define California style.

What began as a record modeled on the classic double albums of the 60's and 70's, ended up a more valiantly humble but equally gripping and electrifying snapshot of a truly strange time and place. All raw, all truth, all the artist had at this moment.
