The second effort from San Francisco based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, Chris Guthridge. Which finds us back in the weeds of homespun, raw and emotionally charged songs about friendship, love, fear, honesty and hopeful redemption. Low key, yet plaintive accounts of the absurd, the very real and the pretend. Takes on the confusion of modern life and the modern lie. So raw you will hear the wind blow, dogs bark, birds, amps buzzing, the counting off of songs into the chaos of an unscripted ending, tempos swaying, people yelling, talking, laughing, radio signals coming through amplifiers. drum machine count offs left in, mistakes, bad edits etc. but not a note played without soul. A reminder that it is all very real. Just like you.
